This past weekend the weather was so nice it had me really excited about Spring. So I put together an outfit with some of my favorite spring and transitional-wear staples. Let's break it down:
- Shirtdress: Shirtdresses are the best. They are casual and the silhouette is flattering for most body types. You'll be seeing lots of options for the shirtdress this Spring. The one I'm wearing was meant to be transitional, as it's a light flannel material, but I've got my eye on this one.
- Camel Coat: The camel coat is perfect for transitioning into Spring. It pairs wonderfully over denim and dresses. If you buy one that is not too heavy, you can wear it long into these transitional months.
- "Bone" colored mules/sandals/booties: In this outfit I am wearing a Dolce Vita Heeley Bootie in "bone." Bone is the color of the season in footwear. It elongates your legs and pairs amazingly with browns and blacks. Get ready to find lots of great sandals and booties in this bone this season.
- Backpack: I'm truly luvving the backpack purse comeback. I thrifted this one a few years ago but there are some really awesome ones to choose from right now. The backpack is great if you are going to be out and about all day. You can't beat the hands-free convenience.
