My Fall Favorites - 2021

Hi Babes!

First of all, THANK YOU to each one of you who attended our Fall Drop! it was so great to see your lovely faces and share with you our newest arrivals.

My 3 Favorite New Fall Arrivals:

My picks for this month are three pieces that can be worn in so many different ways. The perfect white tee is a must for layering this season and should be updated every couple of years depending on how often you wear it. I'm a lover of blazers and this one by ASTR is so lovely. Keep an eye out for some vintage ones hitting the floor soon as well. The Valeria Cardigan is a splurge piece that I think you'll gravitate to every fall season. The color is rich and beautiful and the embroidered detail makes this one feel extra special.

Darcy Collection Updates:

The Darcy Collection for spring 2022 is full steam ahead! What you can expect? Wide leg linen pants and the perfect matching top, a flowy linen dress that I believe everyone will gravitate to and some cotton knits to layer and play with year round. Right now, we're sourcing fabrics and picking colors. I'm leaning toward rich neutrals like browns and greens. Also of note: you can now shop Darcy Collection at Misha in Seattle, Washington. It's a gorgeous store and we are proud to be represented there. Give them a follow @shop.misha

Movies and Fashion:

Movies to inspire - I'm always so inspired by movies. Sometimes these are films deserving of all the indie festival awards and sometimes they are just an old classic that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. For me this time of year, it's the latter with You've Got Mail. The dreaminess of New York in the fall, the coziness of the 90s knits and layers, and of course I can't deny that owning a little shop "around the corner" doesn't make me connect on a whole other level. And I can't help but mention the coziness of Kathleen Kelly's apartment. Goals!

The Team at Darcy:

Meet Sezanna - she's a Fort Smith native that recently graduated from Oklahoma State with a B.S. in fashion design. Sezanna is super talented and I've already got her making potential Darcy Collection samples. She's great at styling so don't be afraid to ask her to put together the perfect look for you
And of course so many of you already know and love Audra - she is a senior this year in the Apparel and Merchandising program at U of A. Her future in fashion is super bright, although for my sake, I hope she sticks around Fayetteville :-)
I feel so lucky to have both of these women helping me while I'm in a busy season of being mom to a one year old and business owner. I learn so much from them and I know they love the shop and serving our customers as much as I do.
