I wouldn't peg us "Normal Girls" to be too connected with trends, but I think we have established here at Hello Luvvy that fashion should be fun and less worrisome than some women assume it to be. You might have noticed that I have really been trying out some trends on this Normal Girl blog. We have posted about high-waisted pants with crop tops, peplums, pattern play, and florals . In this post I am continuing this trend with a high-low dress, army green, and a bolero hat.
I must say that I really wasn't on the high-low bandwagon from the beginning. In fact, I can remember becoming frustrated because I would like every thing about a dress or skirt, EXCEPT the high-low aspect. Lately however, I have been seeing some less exaggerated high-low dresses that I can handle, and I have decided to give it a try. The spring trend of army green is huge and definitely something I can naturally latch on to; I have always been a fan of the color. Here, I have combined both trends by wearing a high-low dress in army green, and I am liking it.

You might have noticed I am a total tights/hose girl. They are my go to until summer. Tights make me feel more comfortable when I am wearing a short dress and they keep me warmer on cool spring nights. And ladies, I hate to go all -they do it in Paris- on you, but that is where I learned this trick, and they actually wear them all year round.
I really love these hats, I think they have become popular because of the huge movement of "festival fashion" in the U.S. Perfect for keeping the sun out of your eyes while looking rightly bad ass...... Mostly on these ladies, see below:[caption id="attachment_1710" align="aligncenter" width="333"] coachella style elinking[/caption] [caption id="attachment_1708" align="aligncenter" width="480"] Flashes of Style dot com[/caption] [caption id="attachment_1711" align="aligncenter" width="480"] Shop Savoir Faire dot com[/caption]
So cute, functional, and exuding confidence (which we highly recommend).
What trends are you crazy about right now? Are you being confident with your style?
