Well, luvvies: it's Monday again. If you find yourself overwhelmed with a case of the Mondays, try a mini-makeover to cheer you up and prepare you to face the rest of your week. The easiest over-haul? Your nails, of course. And today's post details how to achieve the cutest and easiest polka-dot mani using a girl-tool that I know ALL of you have: the bobby pin.

First prime your nails with a base coat. I used Orly's Top 2 Bottom base/top coat. Once your base coat is relatively dry, paint two coats of your first polish color.
I used Revlon's Top Speed polish in Stormy (#820). You want to use a polish that will dry quickly so you're not waiting around all day to finish your manicure.
Next pour a bit of your second polish color onto a paper plate or magazine. You won't need much.
I used Revlon's Colorstay polish in Bare Bones (#300) for my dots.
Now get your bobby pin ready. Dip the rounded tip of the hair pin into your little puddle of polish, then carefully dot it onto your nails. The more delicate you are in your dotting, the smaller your spots will be.
Tip: As always, I recommend painting the nails on your dominant hand first. The same goes for the dotting.
Wait a good ten minutes, then top these babies off with a clear top coat. I, of course, used my Orly Top 2 Bottom for my topcoat.
And taaa-daaah: adorable dotted nails. Just the cheery fix for your Monday.
I was so happy to share this super-easy, four-step manicure with you all today. Have an awesome week; now go put on some lipstick.
