Due to the way people seem to praise Kale, (I'm looking at you Bey), you'd assume it was the healthiest green option. It is healthy, but there are plenty of other greens that are actually healthier. This romaine wrap will not only give you life, but will also make you feel like the healthiest babe on the block.
Ingredients Head of Romaine lettuce 1/2 a Rotisserie chicken**to make vegan, simply remove this chicken 1 White onion 1 Mango 1 tablespoon Honey 1 1/2 tablespoons Garam masala 1 tablespoon Curry 1 tablespoon of Chia seeds Juice of 1 Lemon
DirectionsBefore you make the wraps, you need to make the delicious stuffing. If you are using chicken, shred part of the rotisserie chicken first. If you are making this vegan, simply skip this step. I've included pictures of both mixtures. Next, you will chop up your mango and your onion. When you are done, with the chopping, it's time to step up the flavor of this mixture. Cover with the honey, chia seeds, garam masala, lemon, and curry. Mix! Now you're ready to stuff your romaine leaves.
Fill the romaine leaves with tablespoons of the stuffing. Now you're going to roll this like a little romaine burrito! To do this, cut the whitish end off and roll. You can also make a romaine taco! I made both.
