Local Lady: Outfit Post

by 1 July 26, 2013

While this might seem surprising to some, here in Arkansas we are blessed with some amazing local boutiques, and we ladies at HelloLuvvy just can't get enough. From my personal obsession with Savoir Faire to our Beauty Editor's (Katie Evans) love for E. Leigh's boutique in Little Rock, we truly luvv us some local. Over the next few weeks in this fashion blog we really want to highlight clothing from these incredible local shops and maybe score an interview or two with their owners.

Being a busy working Normal Girl I don't always have time to go online looking for the perfect look, so one way I keep up with the local boutiques and the style's they carry is through Instagram. I love to follow my favorite shops because they post daily outfit inspiration, and when you see something you like you can message them and if it's available they will hold items for you. It is insta-shopping. Here are few of the stores I follow on instagram:

If you truly want to insta-shop you can download an app to your phone called btiques: it is totally free, so you can just set up an account and shop away! Perfect for all you working gals and also an app created locally (awesome).

Florals are my favorite right now (more like always) and layering them is even more my favorite. You might be thinking floral overload, but I'm thinking, man I wish my shoes had flowers on them.

This look features a floral dress from Savoir Faire (Fayetteville), floral blazer from E. Leigh's Boutique (Little Rock & Fayetteville), necklace and Jeffrey Campbell booties from Mason's (Fayetteville).

Many things might draw one to shopping local, but at HelloLuvvy we believe shopping locally is not only convenient (less crowds, easy returns), it also supports our local economy, which all smart and savvy women know is important.

What is your favorite local boutique? If you are in AR let us know by emailing us (helloluvvy@gmail.com), and we might just show up to do a blog post about your favorite shop!
