fancied up french toast

do you LUVV french toast like i do? it is seriously my favorite, so the other day i tried something new with mine. it turned out so yummy i just knew i would have to share! it is sweet + crunchy + totally rich. you probably cannot eat more than one slice, which may be a good thing considering the caloric intake! ha!

here it is:

fancied up french toast

6 eggs

6 T. milk

1 t. cinnamon

1 t. vanilla

butter (for pan)

1 1/2 cups crushed peanut butter toast crunch cereal

1 1/2 rice crispy cereal

8 slices of texas toast

in a large bowl mix together your eggs, milk, cinnamon & vanilla, until frothy.

in 2 separate dishes add your cereals.

preheat your pan and melt a pat of butter inside. while you are doing this stick a slice of your toast into your egg mixture and thoroughly soak both sides, then place in your cereal and coat each side.

add your coasted toast to your pan and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. continue doing this until all of your slices are done!

serve warm with syrup & powdered sugar if you like! you could even add some fruit to the side if you wanted to make it seem healthier!.

let me tell you ladies, this recipe is a crowd pleaser! i think my family could eat it any time of the day. but seriously make this, morning, noon, or night!

you could even switch it up and use different cereals for different flavors! let us know what you come up with LUVVIES!
