I cannot believe Easter is this weekend. Did it sneak up on anyone else? Spring is always a busy time for everyone. There is spring break, then Easter, then a wedding every other weekend and before you know it, it's summer and you're (hopefully) getting to be lazy by a pool somewhere.

With life being so busy, I've really been thinking a lot about not taking any of it for granted. Pushing for more and better is a grueling hamster wheel and our culture has engraved this feeling of "it's never enough" in our minds, but hopefully not our hearts. It's good to sit back and truly appreciate these busy weekends, hard work days and gifts of travel, family and friendship. There are so many that don't have the privilege of a good paying job or even good health, so I'm feeling thankful and I hope you are too.

I thought today, instead of wearing an Easter dress, it would be fun to show you a spring outfit that would be great for Easter brunch with friends and family. It's been a little cold here, so pants just felt right. Add a heel and a frilly top like this beautiful sweater from Maude Boutique (Rogers Location) and you are set for the day—feeling comfortable and a little fancy.
