If you are a Fayetteville Native it is very likely that you went to the Block Street Block Party this past weekend. If you read this blog and you are not from around here, let me just tell you that it is One Good Time. One of the best parts about living in this area this time of year is the plethora of small festivals that each town holds. I once decided that if I had the time, I would go to every single small town Arkansas festival in a single year. Which means I might have to hit up two or three in one weekend, and would definitely be out of town every weekend in May and June. I love these festivals because of the local vendors, fare, and music. It is a grand time to celebrate all things spring and all things awesome from your home town.
I am always drawn to the booth vendors at these festivals because I love handmade jewelry and unique items for gifts and for home. Here are a few of my favorites from this festival:
From handmade coffee Koozies to little succulents in tea cups, this booth was so adorable.
Yes, our own Contributing Editor Kaitlyn Lee was there with her always adorable booth filled with handmade pillows and vintage finds. See Kaitlyn's post about indie craft fairs here if you haven't.
This booth (which is actually a store in Fayetteville now!), has some really awesome handmades with humor and the brightest colors. Very hip and stylish, I can't wait to go check out their downtown store.
Dying over these letters. Dying! And he does customs so anyone can get these. Also really cool iron baskets for drinks or flower arrangements.
All one of kind finds for more than reasonable prices.
Best gifts for friends and family, plus supporting your local economy, plus enjoying an amazing day outside equals perfect. For a list of all the festivals in Arkansas see here. Hit up some festivals this summer and share some of your favorite photos with us on Instagram @hello_luvvy!
