Banana sushi! This sushi is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S. Literally.

A few years ago, my husband became obsessed with banana sushi, an invention he saw that combined bananas, rice krispies, and peanut butter. He ate this every day for WEEKS, and then suddenly stopped. I was reminded of banana sushi a few days ago when I saw that I had bananas that were about to turn, and I wanted to do something different to make the most out of them. In this moment, by brain reminded of, you guessed it, banana sushi! However, instead of making the same old banana sushi, I decided to experiment with different toppings. These were three of the ones that I created, and let me tell you, they're the perfect snack for eating after work, after school, or as tiny dessert after dinner.
BANANA SUSHI
Ingredients
Bananas
Peanut butter
Nutella
Fruity Pebbles
Love Crunch Granola
Pretzel
Peanut
Directions

The directions for this are pretty simple, but within that simplicity there is so much space for experimentation. Once you get the basic idea unpeeled banana + something sticky to coat the banana with (almond butter, peanut butter, nutella, honey, and so on) + toppings then you can see how many options there are. After peeling the banana and coating it, you roll the banana in whatever topping you've put together. Then, cut the banana into slices.
For this I put together three different options:
Peanut Butter + Fruity Pebbles

Nutella + Chocolate Granola (Lovecrunch Brand)
Peanut Butter, Nutella + Pretzel + Peanuts

I loved having a salty sweet option to go along with the sweeter options. What other flavors would you like to see with this? I loved fruity pebbles, but cinnamon toast crunch and crunch berries may be amazing too!
