Ladies I am excited to announce that designers have finally answered our call for fabulous, functional swimwear. While in the past we have had to search far and wide for a decent one piece, we can now find them just about anywhere. It seems women are demanding better variety in swimwear and designers are listening. This proves that the market follows us, we don't follow the market and this is exciting and empowering. We want to be active in our swimwear and not be afraid that we might lose our top every time we dive in the lake or swim in the ocean. With sexy cut-outs, long gaping necklines, and modern prints that suit every body type, the one-piece is center stage and we couldn't be more thrilled about it. Here are a few of our favorites.

As a bonus, I have included a couple other trends in swimwear. The modest and functional two piece. These suits can range from full swim shirts to cute crops as seen above. The crops are usually paired with high-waisted bottoms. These suits offer a fun new way to wear a two piece and still feel comfortable on your boogie board.
Tips For suiting up your body type:
If you are smaller on top and bigger on bottom, a suit with ruffles or fringe around the bust line is very flattering. See numbers 2, 6, & 8.
If you want to accentuate your waistline, choose something with details on the side like ruching or cutouts. See numbers 1, 3, 5, & 10.
If you want to elongate your body, choose a piece with a long neckline. See numbers 2, 6, 7, & 10.
Most importantly choose something you feel most comfortable in. Then promise that all you will think about while at the beach is the next wave you are going to ride, and the next frozen margarita you are going to drink.
